Known for his ability to capture the cultural impact of iconic institutions and figures, Miele explores Mackie’s personal and professional journey in a way that both celebrates and humanizes the iconic designer. Miele’s previous works, including Harry Benson: Shoot First! (2016) and Alan Pakula: Going for Truth(2019), have garnered critical acclaim for their insider access and compelling narratives, and Bob Mackie: Naked Illusion promises the same.
