At the end of his Saturday Night Live term and the height of his popularity, Norm MacDonald made the most celebrated of his all-too-few starring film roles in 1998’s DIRTY WORK. Again co-writer Frank Sebastiano (with MacDonald and SNL alum Fred Wolf) pens a perfect framework for crass, laugh-out-loud laughs as Norm plays down-on-his-luck loser Mitch, who after nothing but bad breaks decides to turn his passion into profit when he starts a revenge-for-hire business with his loudmouth buddy Sam (Artie Lange). Chaos erupts and soon the duo realize their business model might have some fatal flaws when they cross real estate magnate Travis Cole (Christpher McDonald). DIRTY WORK also marks the final performance of Chris Farley.
Co-writer of DIRTY WORK and co-writer / director of BEER LEAGUE Frank Sebastiano will be making a very rare appearance for Q&A. Sebastiano’s long list of writing credits include years writing for The Late Show with David Letterman, The Chris Rock Show, Norm Macdonald, and a long tenure on SNL that began in 1995.
