The Films of Simple Town

Part comedy group, part acting company, part film collective, Simple Town is one of the most prolific and versatile comedy groups coming out of New York. Made up of four performers (Sam Lanier, Caroline Yost, Will Niedmann, Felipe Di Poi) and one director (Ian Faria), Simple Town co-writes, co-produces, and devises all of their films, which range from grotesque clown, to art-film homage, to mumblecore comedy. Their work has been on Comedy Central, and Adult Swim.

Join them at Roxy Cinema, this April 25th at 7pm, for a retrospective of their work, and the premiere of their new short, a documentary blurring the line between comedy and autofiction.
